Cubaris sp. ‘Panda King’ is a beautiful small-size Cubaris isopod that is suitable for beginners. This morph developed in Vietnam and it was given this name for obvious reasons. It has though a moderate prolificacy, and it will take some time to establish a medium to large colony.

Activity: mostly night active.
Terrarium: keep ⅓ moist with moss, pieces of rotting white wood and also decaying leaves. Check out also our premium substrate.
Temperature: 22 – 28°C
Humidity: 55 – 70%
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, rotting white wood, decaying leaves. As most Cubaris isopods they also love moss and lichen. They will enjoy a slightly higher protein-based diet, at least 2x times a week. Be sure to check out our Protein mix foods. Also don’t forget a calcium source (cuttlefish bone, limestone & oyster seashell, limestone rock) to keep them healthy.
Difficulty: easy.
Reproduction rate: takes some time to start reproducing, but when established they breed well.
Growth rate: normal to slow.
